Locally sourced (Berlin) juice processing by-product of pomegranates can not only be used as mordants, but can be developed into textile dyes as well. With the help of alum pre-treated GOTS cotton textiles a bright yellow can be evoked on either untreated and undyed textiles or white based textiles. The alum can be stored and reused anytime.
